Menu Plan Monday



Last week, both of my favorite people came down with the yucky summer cold so I spent the majority of the week nursing them back to health. There was lots of tea, tissues and tantrums to go around (I'll let you guess who threw the tantrums - ha!) ;) 

This week, we're looking forward to Nathan being on vacation! We have no special plans...just some much needed family time around the house. We're soaking up every last minute of summer in Tennessee which means we're firing up the grill a lot this week.

Here's what we're having (William's breakfast and lunch menu is including for those of you who are looking for some Toddler meal ideas!):

Monday - Grilled hamburgers, French Fries, Fruit

Tuesday - Crock Pot Italian Sausage Soup {new}, Breadsticks
  • William's menu: (b'fast) - Ham and Cheese Omelette, Fruit
  • (lunch) - Quinoa, Turkey Meatballs, Roasted Sweet Potato 

Wednesday - Chicken Parmesan (we'll use this recipe as a base, but I'm not going to do it in the Crock Pot this time) 

Thursday - Grilled Pineapple and Ham Pizzas, Side Salads

Friday - Grilled Chicken Leg Quarters, Rice, Veggies
  • William's menu: (b'fast) - Toddler "Apple Pie", Yogurt
  • (lunch) - Cheesy Pasta (basically it's just the star-shaped pasta with cheese mixed in), fruit, roasted carrots 

Saturday - Leftovers
  • William's menu: (b'fast) - Toast sticks, scrambled eggs
  • (lunch) - Veggie "Surprise" Quesadilla with a side of fruit...usually whatever veggies we have leftover for the week go into an omelette or quesadilla for William ;)
