Two Months

This is technically one week old, but for the past seven days Nathan, me and the little guy have been in Tennessee visiting his family. Our week was filled with fun times - introducing William to lots and lots of family members, eating out, getting massages (!!!), indulging in desserts, taking strolls, and enjoying good conversation.

William did so well on his very first plane ride. In fact, once I popped him in the Moby Wrap, he often went right to sleep and slept the entire flight! He's already a seasoned traveler. :)

And a few more updates from Month Two that I want to remember:

  • William had his first round of vaccinations this month. He was a champ! He only cried a tiny bit afterwards, and then slept a lot the remainder of the day.
  • We bought a new baby swing off of Craigslist and it's been a lifesaver during William's "sensitive hour."
  • We heard our first semi-giggle this month while we were on vacation. It was hands-down, the most darling thing ever.
  • William also pulled his first-ever six hour sleeping stretch during the middle of the night while on vacation. TWICE! Of course now that we're back home he's back to his usual 4 1/2 - 5 hour stretches, but hey - he proved he could do it, which gives me great hope! :)

Happy Two Months, sweet boy! I can't believe you're growing so quickly!

  4. He is such a cutie. I love the swaddle dislike. Henry used to be like that too. But it's totally worth it for the better sleep.
