Nursery Update + Memory Verse Challenge - Verse 8

Hi Friends! Monday looks a little different on the blog today. We're not posting a menu this week because we're getting ready for our big Babymoon/Anniversary trip and our schedules are jammed packed with nightly events all this week. During busy weeks like this, we usually raid the fridge for leftovers, eat a PB&J, or make a quick salad, so I decided I wouldn't bore you with our simple menu. :)

I did want to show you some fun stuff we've been working on this weekend though . . .

We were busy last week prepping the nursery for painting, and I'm happy to say it's almost done. We've got the walls completely painted, and all we have left to do is paint the trim, window sill and closet doors white.

Here's a before, of the room in all its white starkness:

And here's the after, painted gray (it was still drying in this photo, so nevermind those spots on the wall.)

I realize there's not much difference between the Before and After. We're hoping after painting the trim a pretty white and getting all baby boy's furnishings, curtains and bedding in place, that it'll be a nice masculine room for our little turkey. ;)

I also wanted to share my 8th verse for the Memory Verse Challenge. This one's a short one, but a good one! It comes from Psalm 105:4:
"Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always."

  2. Can't wait to see it finished and little Will sticking his head over the edge of the crib calling for you!

Have a fun time on your babymoon trip!

  3. it's looking so great. It's so difficult to get a good shot of the color, but I can tell it's going to be awesome! Yay for progress!
