Gratituesday

I'm linking up with Laura over at Heavenly Homemakers for what she calls "Gratituesday" -- if you're grateful for something, then head on over and link up!

This week, I'm grateful that . . .
  • Hubby doesn't have the mumps! We had quite the scare last week which resulted in a visit to our local Urgent Care. After several days of not feeling well, and some strange symptoms, we thought hubby had the mumps so we decided to take him to the Dr. Luckily, (sort of) he only has a viral infection that his body is trying hard to fight off. Dr. ended up prescribing lots of rest (do men even know the meaning of the word?!?).
  • Our kitchen cabinets will be ready to pick up tomorrow!!!  We've been patiently waiting for the seller of our cabinets to give us a pick-up date, and we heard from him this week. We are so excited to get them in our possession. I'm sure I'll take roughly 45 million photos, so I'll be sure to share some with you later. :)
  • Spring time has officially arrived in NY! Our daffodils are budding, and our tulips are growing and birds are chirping...it's such a nice break after a hard winter. I love the change of seasons, not only because of the flowers, trees and grass growth, but also because it's a chance to start fresh spiritually and make some new goals.

  3. Yay for spring! The jury is still out on what season it is here. =) One day it's freezing, the next it's muggy and hot, the next it's raining and there's a tornado watch, then it's freezing again. But you've lived in Alabama, you know how it is. =]

Glad that you guys have been enjoying your weather though!
