Giveaway Winner + Feb. 28 Menu Plan

First off, thanks to everyone who entered the Pioneer Woman Book giveaway!  I'm excited that so many of you are Ree fans, and that anyone who wins the book will enjoy it -- it's seriously funny, entertaining and even includes some of her family favorite recipes.

But lets get right down to it. I chose the winner this morning using Random.org's number generator, and I'm happy to announce that the winner is . . . .

"I bet Ree's book is a fun read. I really love her cookbook."

Congratulations, Laura! Please e-mail me at rlmartin85@gmail.com to receive your copy of Ree's Black Heels to Tractor Wheels

Last week, we had all intent to try some yummy new recipes but it just didn't happen.  We did enjoy SnoWhite's Three-Cheese Ziti, and Nathan's much-requested Tacos with homemade Rotel Dip, so all was not lost!

This week, I'm rolling over a couple of the recipes from last week's menu because they just looked so yummy not to try.  Here's hoping we can stay on our Menu Plan schedule this week! :)

Monday: Thai Honey Peanut Chicken w/ Rice & Broccoli

Tuesday: Tuna Salad Sandwiches

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Pasta Fagioli Soup

Friday: Breakfast for Dinner -- Mixed Berry Pancakes {new} w/ Fruit Smoothies

Saturday: Crock Pot Italian Chicken

If you need other menu plan ideas, head on over to I'm an Organizing Junkie for Menu Plan Monday -- lots of great menus are posted each week!

Have a great Monday!!

  4. That was so sweet of you to give away The Pioneer Woman's book. I saw her cookbook in a bookstore a few weeks ago. She had so many yummy recipes. And that Pasta Fagioli soup looks so delicious! I love Italian food! You will have to let me know how it is!
    Have a great week!
