Gratituesday

Today I'm linking up with Laura over at Heavenly Homemakers for Gratituesday.  If you're grateful for something, then head on over to her blog and link up!

Oh, and don't forget . . . the $35 CSN giveaway ends tonight at midnight!  Click here to enter.

This week, I'm grateful that:
  1. I had a nice, long weekend!  I was off on Monday for the holiday, so I spent the weekend with friends and family, relaxing with Nathan and enjoying some new yummy recipes (more to come on that later!).
  2. I have all of my cleaning done!  I have this weird quirk that everything has to be spic and span before we leave on vacation because I love coming home to a nice, clean house.  I'm so glad I have all of this cleaning done before our big trip this weekend.
  3. Sunday I got to spend some much-needed time with my mom.  Usually we do the Goodwill and Starbucks every Sunday, but this week we spent a little extra time at Starbucks just sitting and talking.  It was wonderful to just listen to each other, encourage one another and take time out to just be.
  4. Nathan and I spent some time "purging" on Monday.  We cleaned out our guest bedroom dresser, and our master bedroom closet.  Now we have 3 big bags of stuff to drop off at Goodwill, and we are loving all the roominess in our dresser/closet.
  5. We leave this week for Nashville!!!  I am so excited to get some time off with Nathan to go and visit his family.  We haven't seen his family in a while, so we are really excited about this trip.  We're looking forward to many laughs, lots of food and much time spent with the ones we love.

  1. Wonderful weekend! Things have to be clean for me too before we travel -- it's so nice to have a clean house to come home to.

    Safe travels!!
