NYC (mini) Recap & July 19 Menu Plan

Well, we're back!  We arrived safely in Rochester last night around 7 PM from our trip to NYC, and boy are we pooped!  We'll probably be unpacking and catching our breath for these first few days, but I did want to share a few photos from our trip.  Once I get them all downloaded, I'll be sure to do a bigger post with a lot more photos.  Until then . . .

This is where we stayed.  It was a lovely B&B in Brooklyn.

One of our views from the Empire State Building

 Times Square

 Central Park

 The New York Public Library

 Grand Central Station

 Trinity Church

Federal Hall--where George Washington was inaugurated

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge!

Ate at an amazing Mexican restaurant with a great rooftop view.

Went on a food tasting tour of Greenwich Village

Enough said . . .

And spent lots, and lots of quality time together touring an unfamiliar city! :)

This week, we're excited to be back home, and back in our kitchen.  Fortunately, we didn't have to do a whole lot of eating out while in NYC because our breakfast was included at our B&B, but after a few days of eating out, I'm just ready for home cooked goodness!

Monday: Rachael Ray's Super Sloppy Joe's
Tuesday: Smothered Enchiladas
Wednesday: Leftover Night
Thursday: Spinach Artichoke Cheesy Tortellini (**new**)
Friday: Barbecue Crispy Chicken Melts (**new**)
Saturday: Homemade Whole Wheat Pizza
