A Weekend with Family

It's back to the grinding mill for us!
This past weekend, we took a little trip to Tennessee and visited with Nathan's family.  It was so nice to relax, play games, laugh, eat and catch up with them.  We had a blast, and even enjoyed some nice sunny weather to boot!

We flew down Thursday evening . . .

Woke up Friday and did a little shopping at a used music shop.  Enjoyed a facial with my sis-in-law while my mother-in-law got a 2-hour haircut (long story, but definitely the highlight of the day!).  Then, Friday night, Nathan's brothers and their girlfriends came over for Loaded Questions (the board game) and homemade pizza.

Saturday, Nathan's extended family came up from Hunstville to visit--his cousin Anna and her husband Chase, his aunt Karen and her husband Kevin and their son Caleb, and Nathan's grandfather.  We had the best time playing more games (a new one I've never played called Snorta), eating and catching up.  Here are some family photos from the get together:

Saturday evening, we got to celebrate Christmas with Nathan's family, and then Sunday we spent the morning at church, the afternoon eating and the later afternoon/evening resting and playing more games.

It was such a great weekend, and we are so glad we were able to spend it with family.
